Gongura (Telugu: గోంగూర) is a plant, either Kenaf/ Hibiscus cannabinus or Roselle/ Hibiscus sabdariffa, grown for its edible leaves in India.
This delicious pickle is very authentic. Their is saying a Wedding in incomplete if “gongura” pickle is not served, such is the delicacy of this royal leaf..
It is a mixture of Tangy, Spicy and leafy.
